Telecom Italia Acilia Offices

Location: Rome, Italy

2015

Architect: RIMOND

Project Value: 25 000 000€

With the challenge to carry out different interventions in a single place, Telecom Italia in collaboration with RIMOND decided to develop their new offices around the concept of “smart working” in the Acilia quarter in Rome. The objective was to transform an old architectural complex into a new dynamic office space, to set example as the new way of working.

The redesign of the Telecom Italia offices took a interdisciplinary and rational approach, satisfying the client’s requirement to create an excellent working space for the company’s staff through the use of integrated design. The space allows flexibility of use with different ambiences separated by panels and vegetation.

Thanks to our team of professionals and experts, known for their capacity to integrate the project’s idea into a compre- hensive multidisciplinary effort, RIMOND has proved capable of achieving a sustainable and optimal design. The goal for this project was to be awarded the LEED Platinum certification by removing all harmful and toxic substances produced by the building as wasted and the recycle and conservation of water.

To develop the project’s concept and maintain a high level of excellence, RIMOND coordinated and guided an interdisciplinary group of professionals, from interior design, urban planning, landscape design, sustainability and MEP efficiency, all managed and integrated into BIM.
